Nordeste Properties is born
On December 1, 2020, as a result of the restructuring of the business companies, by areas of activity, Nordeste Properties S.L. (now Nordeste Properties Socimi, S.A.) was born, which becomes the owner of all real estate assets for hotel use.
Nordeste is born with the vocation of becoming a SOCIMI, and in an effort to improve and expand its portfolio of hotel establishments, based on the personality and uniqueness that throughout history have been the characteristics of our assets.
Its sole operator is the company H. Santos D., S.L., owner of the Hoteles Santos brand, which with its more than 50 years of experience in customer service, brings all its knowledge to the management of these establishments.
Corporate purpose
The company’s main corporate purpose is the acquisition and development of urban real estate, especially hotels, residences, tourist flats, restaurants and cafeterias for lease, together with their related premises and garages, including the refurbishment of these buildings, as well as the acquisition, direct or indirect operation, construction and disposal of urban buildings and all types of real estate, and the subscription and acquisition of shares and interests in the assets and debentures of companies with an identical or similar purpose.
The company’s main activity is: CNAE 6820 Renting of real estate for own account.
If any of the activities included in the corporate purpose were or could be of a professional nature, it is understood that with respect to such activity the function of the company is that of a mediator or intermediary in the performance thereof.
The aforementioned activities may also be carried on by the Company, in whole or in part, indirectly, by means of participation in another company with a similar object.
All activities for the exercise of which the law requires special requirements that are not met by this company are excluded.
If, in order to carry out any of the activities included in the corporate purpose, it is necessary to hold an official qualification or appointment, academic accreditation or professional membership, the activity may only be carried out on behalf of the company, as a corporate activity, by the person holding the qualification or holding the legally required membership.
The operator
Hoteles Santos has been managing all the hotel assets of the different companies that made up the group since 1970, when it began operating the Hotel Praga in Madrid, the company’s first hotel, until December 2020, when it signed a long-term contract with the new company Nordeste to continue as the operator of the establishments for hotel use.
In these more than 50 years, Hoteles Santos has become synonymous with quality, service and best practices in the sector, with the management of hotels as recognisable and emblematic as those in the Nordeste portfolio undoubtedly contributing to this.
